Our MC course training is perfect for those individuals that have limitations in attending our In-class training for reasons like distance, conflicting time schedules, traveling military (check out our MyCAA Program) among many other factors. Well, no problem! You may take our online course training program in the comfort of your own home, office or in any other convenient place that fits best for you.

Our MC Course Training curriculum is formatted for 12 weeks with a live Instructor session once a week via an online streaming live cast. Here, we’ll review a set amount of chapters & answer any pertinent questions.

BECOMING A MEDICAL CODER

Our medical coding training course will provide you with the fundamentals of medical coding and everything you need to test for the AAPC most recognized medical coding certification in the healthcare industry. The CPC® (Certified Professional Coder) is the gold standard for medical coding in physician office settings.

Upon successfully completing our course students will be awarded a certificate of completion from A16 Coding Training Institute becoming then eligible to sit for the AAPC national certification exam.

COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS

Personal Computer (not a tablet or iPad) and High-speed Internet connection.

Course fee:  $2,000.00

Course Type:  Online Training (With a live Online session once a week)

Course length:  12 weeks (80hrs)

Course OBJECTIVES:

  •  Identify the purpose of the CPT®, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II code books
  •  Understand and apply the official ICD-10-CM coding guidelines
  •  Apply coding conventions when assigning diagnoses and procedure codes
  •  Identify the information in appendices of the CPT® code book
  •  Explain the determination of the levels of E/M services
  •  Code a wide variety of patient services using CPT®, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes
  •  List the major features of HCPCS Level II codes
  •  Provide practical application of coding operative reports and evaluation and management services
